Integrated Design

ISI employs an integrated design approach to its projects, which means that from the very beginning we balance the architectural aspects of a building with the structural engineering and with the materials and methods of construction. This approach allows us to arrive at more cost effective, high quality designs than would otherwise be possible. It allows us to expose much of the structure because the plans and elevations are integrated with the structural grid from the beginning. This provides architectural enhancement from a necessary structural element that would have been buried behind finish ceilings and walls.  To insure the design vision is properly implemented, ISI is available to continue the detailed design process into the construction phase with its construction management services.
